Hello from Chloe
Hi, friends! Thanks for landing here! I’m slowly moving my blog over here. I look forward to sharing writing tips and joys, as well as news about my second poetry collection, Perforated.
While most writing and reading happens alone, when a book comes out, the quiet writer in the corner needs to stand in the spotlight (on her soapbox? eep!) and share news about her book. I’ve worked hard on the poems and hope they find some good conversations with readers, but this publicity part remains an awkward part of the writing business.
Which is to say, I kindly ask your forgiveness for the upcoming promotion. I promise to work hard to even things out by sharing tidbits you can use for your own writing and celebrating other writers, including you! Please always share your news with me.
The first celebration I’d like to share is that Shasta Grant, with whom I co-founded Brown Bag Lit, is the author of the debut novel When We Were Feral. I read an early copy of it and was blown away. I think you will be, too. Pre-order her book here and join our community of writers and readers over at Brown Bag Lit. We’d love to see you there!
